Back in March of 2017, I attended an event called Amplified Soul Live hosted by the amazing Ruby Fremon. It wasn’t until this three-day event ended that I realized how important and how powerful having a tribe of like-minded women on your side truly is.
I’ve always been the lone wolf type of woman.
I prefer doing my own thing, learning from my mistakes, and trying harder the next time around. I fell into this mentality because I was never around people who had the same aspirations as I did. My friends always seemed to prefer sitting around binge-watching tv shows or going out to local bars to drink their week’s worth of stress away.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I do both those things too, but in moderation.
I’ve never been one to physically crave the weekend scene of going out, spending a boatload of money on weak overpriced drinks, sardined between sweaty people with too much cologne on. Granted, that’s not the end goal of my friend’s desired plans - but that’s usually what it turns into.
When I attended Amplified Soul Live, I realized that I wasn’t the only lone-wolf lady out there. All the women (and men) in attendance seemed to come from the same type of path. We were usually the ‘oddballs’ of our friends and families, we had a desire for something bigger in life, and we craved to make a difference in the world.
That’s when it clicked for me...
No matter who you are, you can find your tribe.
Every lone-wolf has a wolf-pack somewhere in the world waiting for them to be found.
Why is it important to have a tribe of like-minded people?
They understand you. They can help you when you struggle and they will be your biggest cheerleaders when you succeed. When you join a community, a sisterhood, a place where like-minded individuals gather, you enter a sacred supportive relationship with the other members. You’ve found each other on purpose and God isn’t going to let you miss this opportunity to connect.
You can drop the title of being a lone-wolf, have a place you can call home, and a group of people you can call your family. No matter what the tribe of like-minded people is related to, I can guarantee you will create bonds and friendships like never before. These are your people.
The other members will fire you up! As an entrepreneur, when I surround myself with other entrepreneurs who are doing big things, all I want is to level up my own success to match their own. Being in this type of community will inspire you to grow and evolve into the person you wish to be.
You can collaborate with the other members and create an even bigger impact on the world. If your missions and values are aligned, chances of your success instantly double when you work together.
You learn how to create your own tribe of people and can inspire even more lone wolves to find their pack. Become the leader of the pack and enhance your mark on the world even more.
If you’ve yet to find your wolf-pack and you’re an entrepreneurial women with anxiety, I personally invite you to join my online community full of ambitious women with anxiety - The Decaf Doers.
